This darling hat is a pattern (Bit of Whimsey) by Margaret Hubert. I saw it in the book: THINK PINK, CROCHET FOR THE CURE (Annie's Attic). After seeing it - I realized how cute it would be to do it in tiny yarn for a baby hat. My daughter is a photographer and has been asking me for some props when doing baby photo shoots. This will come it handy! CoziCrafts will get a few more items made for her treasure trunk! Click here to see some of her work: Amy Witt Photography

October 1974 - shags, mini skirts and groovy crochet! Just 3 rockin' girls ready for for church. I loved my crochet back in the day - AND TODAY. What's your blast from the past? I'd love to see some of your 'groovy crochet pics'. Feel free to post a comment and a picture. How long have you been wearing crochet? How long have your been crocheting? It's finished! (The picture was taken without a flash - it is more 'pinkish' in differnent light.) The vest turned out really nice! Again - I can't believe how quickly it worked up. This is a pattern worth adding to your book. The flirty ruffles are fun and feminine. I will probably do another one later on in a lighter weight yarn for a more 'summery' feel. The fabulous vest by Jenny King works up so easily and quickly. I started it barely a week ago and will finish it today. I love the raspberry Sublime Cashmere yarn - it's so soft and it's washable. I will post pictures of the finished product in a day or two. Thanks to Mary at Yarns, Etc. in Chapel Hill for helping me choose the best (& yummiest) yarn for this project. Yarns, Etc. |
