The Craft Room Renovation

Well - it took over 7 months to get through the whole process start to finish.  From stripping the room, to repairing issues, to painting, flooring, cabinets, and finishing touches.  Most all of the work was done by my husband and myself.  I had some help from girlfriends picking out finishing touches and matching colors.  But my special place is 98% done.  There is some trim work needed in a couple of places, but I am in heaven!

The room off the kitchen was used for many things over the years including a classroom area for the kids when they were little; a work out room; a catch all room and then I claimed it for my crafts.  It was a labor of love and a special thanks to my husband for helping me with something he knew was important to me.  A shout out to Carolina Closets Plus who did a fantastic job with the cabinets (I posted on Houzz a few pictures for them).

NOW - to put this room to good use!
