About MeI've been crocheting since grandmother taught me at age 8. I enjoy working with all fibers but do have a special fondness for thread and light weight yarns. I can't deny the instant gratification of working up a quick project with bulky yarns either! Teaching is a special part of this creative outlet for me as well. I love seeing that moment when the student realizes - they got it! Carrying on a craft and tradition is very important, we are all teachers in some respect. I am a member of the Crochet Guild of America and have been lucky to attended a few of the CGOA conferences. Cozi Crafts can be found on Ravelry and Love Crafts. I am always working on expanding my expertise and knowledge of newer crochet stitches and techniques. I am also a knitter and enjoy a fun knitting project at various intervals in between my many crochet projects. My biggest challenge to date - this virtual craft space!
help me streamline to make this a fun place to visit. Thanks for stopping by and reading about my journey. Contact me via my FB or Instagram and tell about how crochet is a part of your everyday life. Thanks...........Jody |
Grandma........ 1971I rarely remember a time when grandma didn't have a crochet hook in hand. Seems she was always working on some wonderful project. My special treasure is a table cloth she made for me many many years ago. And the afghan she gave me when I was in high school is still around and in use. REPAIR & RESTORE HEIRLOOMS
I have repaired family heirloom tablecloths, bedspreads, place mats & afghans.
